Six Months & Still A Proud Fan

June 22nd marks my 6 months anniversary as a follower of Princism!! Yay me!! I have been sitting here for a while now trying to decide what to write in my post for my 6 month anniversary and I guess I'm just going to gush about Prince and what an amazing 6 moths this has been. After I found out about Mahesh [via YouTube], I found his most famous fan club page on Facebook: Mahesh Babu Fans [https://www.facebook.com/maheshbabufans]. If you haven't liked their page as yet, then you should because they are the ones who provide me with all the latest updates on Prince Mahesh & his movies. Another that is very reliable, especially for their awesome collection of Superstar's pictures is MaheshBabu_FC [https://www.facebook.com/MaheshBabuFC].I learned about Tollywood because of Mahesh and now I love Tollywood movies. Its awkward because once you've tasted the joy of watching Telugu films, its difficult to spark the desire to watch Bollywood films. Of course all my favorite Tollywood movies are Prince Mahesh's movies.I love each because of his characters. They were all unique and some were quite the risk but he never failed to play them convincingly. But everyone has their favorites and so do I. One of his best characters ever is Surya Bhai in Businessman. It was phenomenal acting by Prince and although some may say that "Its a movie for Mahesh's Fans only",I don't believe so. Yeah I like movies because of the guy who stars in it, I'm a girl I can't help it, but I also like movies with a good plot and good concepts and Businessman had both. He played his negative role so convincingly! I know I shouldn't have been amazed because he is the Superstar but I was completely and utterly amazed through out the entire movie!

I think that Mahesh is the Master of Expression, he's has the ability to portray every emotion possible just by using his eyes. The eyes are the windows to a person soul, or so the saying goes, and when you look into Mahesh's eyes he gives you a view of his character's soul. He, to put it simply, brings his characters alive! Telugu is a pretty awesome language, my knowledge is limited to lines from Mahesh's movies, but I am learning a little everyday thanks to my awesome friends on Facebook & Twitter. One of my favorite line is from Businessman (obviously :P) and its "Surya Bhai ante nenu kadhu, Its a Brand"

Not only did I learn about Tollywood film industry but also bout the culture and the foods, etc in the South. I definitely want to visit India someday, mainly to meet Mahesh Babu but also to explore the beautiful country from where my ancestors came from.

Recently Mahesh won the Best Actor Award at the CineMaa Awards for his role in Dookudu and I cannot think of an actor who deserves that accolade more than the Prince and I'm not being biased because his was truly a stellar performance. He played for different roles, even he has said this is one of his most difficult characters to pull off, and he did each convincingly! The Dookudu Team in general deserves a a round of applause for all their hard worl to deliver not only a blockbuster but a movie that will live in our memories forever. I was elated with joy and happiness when I found out all the accolades Mahesh & the rest of the Dookudu team received. Congratulations to Superstar Mahesh and the cast & crew of Dookudu.

So I highly doubt that Mahesh is ever going to read this but if he does [fingers crossed] then I would like him to know that not only do I admire him as an actor but also because of the kind of individual he is. He is the perfect role model for the youths of this generation. I love how fondly he speaks of his father and how involved, despite his hectic schedule, he is in his son's life. Family is important to him and that's another admirable trait and one that we don't often see in society today. But before I learned about who Mahesh is as an individual, it was his killer smile that made me go crazy over him. I'm a girl, I can't help but go crazy over this:

or this

or this

I'll stop now :D Well this was my 6 month anniversary blog and of course once more I completely gushed about Mahesh but you were forewarned. Its been an amazing 6 months and I wish I had known about him earlier but never late than never.
