Dedicated to the Mahesh Babu Fans
Why SVSC will be #1!
*Reason 1: It is the first multistarrer in TFI after a long, long time.
*Reason 2:It stars SUPERSTAR MAHESH!!! Mahesh Babu is one of the most well known Telugu actor in the industry, and not because he meddled in Bollywood but because he's damn good at what he does. He doesn't need to affiliate himself with another industry to get coverage, his work speaks volume on the kind of actor he is: a born-to-act one! He has very, and I mean very, loyal fans; there is no way or no force on earth that can stop a Die Hard Mahesh Fan from reaching the movie theater and watching this film.
*Reason 3: Victory Venkatesh is the other big star in this movie and he also is a well established actor in TFI with a large fan base as well.He is a wonderful actor, I have watched a few of his movies an cannot wait to see him embrace his role as the responsible big brother!
The list of reasons can go on and on but in the end: Superstar + Victory = SUPERVICTORIUS Hit at the box-office and in our hearts as well!
Secondly: Mahesh in the Mahindra Ads!! Oh la la! Here's a reminder ;)

Happy Birthday to the SUPERSTAR!
Happy Birthday wishes are extended to a wonderful actor and an even more awesome and humble human being. August 9th has become more than just another day for me, it is now the day that my role model and favorite actor was born. It will always be a blessed day in my life. Mahesh Babu, I found out about you via YouTube where I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to watch one of your movies, what I saw in that young man in Sainikudu was (and still is) a brilliant actor with the natural ability to act! Your smile, of course is as it says in Dethadi, Dethadi, "Nee smile ae Khallas". As I continue to learn more about you, I realized that you are a rare human being, you are a Superstar, & your fans will do anything for you but yet you manage to remain a humble and completely down to earth person. I read interviews about you, that were given by directors and co-stars and it never ceases to amaze me how sincere and kind you are to everyone around you. Not many actors these days take the opportunity to thank all those who helped them in their journey to success but in every one of your speeches relating to your movies you always took the time and effort to thank everyone who helped. I hope that I can be as humble a person as you are and always remember to thank those people in my life who are always there for me. I also love the fact that you cannot be classified as a cliche actor, you try out different films and take risks & that I completely admire about you. Happy Birthday Superstar Prince Mahesh, I hope you have an amazing day with your beautiful family. May you be blessed with many more birthdays in the future.
Ohh by the way, if you ever read this I have one question(hope it makes you laugh): Where did you find the fountain of youth?!! I recently saw the SVSC Posters and you look so much younger! Keep on Rocking Prince!
SVSC Firstlook Posters takes your Breath away!
~Venky & Mahesh~
The second one, although I suspect it's a part of a song shot, shows the more aggressive and determined side of Mahesh's character. It seems that Mahesh will most likely play the brother who will do anything for his family!
~Aggressive Mahi or just Caught in the Moment Mahi? You decide~
I saved the best for last! My favorite poster is the one which shows Mahesh's character as a carefree person who knows how to loosen up and have fun. He looks so serene and genuinely happy in this poster.
~Happy Mahi~
The tagline: SIMPLE BUT BEAUTIFUL is beyond perfect for this movie! The posters and the trailer showed us that we can expect a movie that is simple but will have a magnanimous effect on its viewers! So basically I am dying to see this movie & simply cannot wait for it to be released!! If it's being released in the US with English subtitles you can bet that I'll be there for the very first showing!

Mahesh Babu: The TRUE SUPERSTAR
I haven't written a post in a while and I have been seeing videos & reading articles about Prince Mahesh's speech at the various awards ceremony where he, no surprise there, collected the Best Actor Award, & the main thing that always mesmerizes me about his speeches(besides his voice! I am in love with his accent!) is the fact that he never fully takes credit for the award, he always take the initiative to thank the cast & crew associated with the production of the film. Everyone, or atleast the majority, seems to think that being The SUPERSTAR in TFI or any industry is just about receiving awards and delivering hits but I think it takes more than that to be a superstar. Being the SUPERSTAR means being a humble person and a naturally talented actor but also appreciating the support of your fans as well as the support of all those who helped you along the road to success. It means being the ideal role-model and I can't think of anyone more fitting to bear the title of SUPERSTAR other than Prince MAHESH BABU. He is more than an actor, he is such a sincere person and an introvert whose work definitely speak of his amazing capabilities as an actor but he also does his part for his people. He takes initiatives to protect the children of the next generation & encourages others to do so as well.
The amazing ROLE-MODEL, SUPERSTAR PRINCE MAHESH BABU with his T.O.I Best Actor Award
Superstar with his CineMAA Best Actor Award
Superstar receiving his FilmFare Best Actor Award
Superstar & Dookudu Team rocked FilmFare
Ohh A big hearty CONGRATULATIONS to The Superstar & his Wifey Namrata on the birth of their Baby Girl Sitara. May she always be the Morning Star in the lives of the Superstar's Family!!Friday, June 22, 2012
Six Months & Still A Proud Fan
I think that Mahesh is the Master of Expression, he's has the ability to portray every emotion possible just by using his eyes. The eyes are the windows to a person soul, or so the saying goes, and when you look into Mahesh's eyes he gives you a view of his character's soul. He, to put it simply, brings his characters alive! Telugu is a pretty awesome language, my knowledge is limited to lines from Mahesh's movies, but I am learning a little everyday thanks to my awesome friends on Facebook & Twitter. One of my favorite line is from Businessman (obviously :P) and its "Surya Bhai ante nenu kadhu, Its a Brand"
Not only did I learn about Tollywood film industry but also bout the culture and the foods, etc in the South. I definitely want to visit India someday, mainly to meet Mahesh Babu but also to explore the beautiful country from where my ancestors came from.
Recently Mahesh won the Best Actor Award at the CineMaa Awards for his role in Dookudu and I cannot think of an actor who deserves that accolade more than the Prince and I'm not being biased because his was truly a stellar performance. He played for different roles, even he has said this is one of his most difficult characters to pull off, and he did each convincingly! The Dookudu Team in general deserves a a round of applause for all their hard worl to deliver not only a blockbuster but a movie that will live in our memories forever. I was elated with joy and happiness when I found out all the accolades Mahesh & the rest of the Dookudu team received. Congratulations to Superstar Mahesh and the cast & crew of Dookudu.
So I highly doubt that Mahesh is ever going to read this but if he does [fingers crossed] then I would like him to know that not only do I admire him as an actor but also because of the kind of individual he is. He is the perfect role model for the youths of this generation. I love how fondly he speaks of his father and how involved, despite his hectic schedule, he is in his son's life. Family is important to him and that's another admirable trait and one that we don't often see in society today. But before I learned about who Mahesh is as an individual, it was his killer smile that made me go crazy over him. I'm a girl, I can't help but go crazy over this:
or this
or this
I'll stop now :D Well this was my 6 month anniversary blog and of course once more I completely gushed about Mahesh but you were forewarned. Its been an amazing 6 months and I wish I had known about him earlier but never late than never.

"The Businessman" has Arrived!
Absolutely loved how the beginning of the movie highlighted both the good and bad sides of Mumbai. Mahesh's entrance was not as extravagant as some of his others but it was perfect for The Businessman. My first thought of him as he made his entrance into the movie was: This is a man on a mission!
The Introduction song was short and sweet! It was so energetic and Prince dance moves were equally energetic! Just watch the video and you can see the determination and dedication that he has towards acting, hence he is The Superstar! We have seen our Prince play negative roles before but none can compare to Surya Bhai. He definitely went the extra mile for this movie and it has paid off very well for him. It was exciting to see him play such a dark role. He was absolutely fantastic, he makes a very convincing Bhai! Surya is a calm but very calculative and manipulative person, one of the reasons he made an awesome Bhai. He gets the job done with just a "snap of his finger", an aspect in the movie that I loved! Surya is a leader, he doesn't ask for respect, he takes it then proves to you that he deserves it! He maintains control of his gang and doesn't break his promises to the people around him that he doesn't want to see suffer at the hands of the rich. Living up to his bad boy role, Surya mixed business with pleasure: yes I am talking about the unbelievable chemistry that he shared with Chitra(Kajal Agarwal). As an actor Mahesh really has opened up over the years and this is evident in his movies, especially the Chandamama song in Businessman.
He carried this movie until the very end. It's quite safe to say that Mahesh completely embraced his Surya Bhai character.
The songs were all amazing, I was listening to them even before I knew what they meant! They are so very catchy. It's very difficult to pick a favorite one but "Sir Osthara" definitely tops the list. It really irritated me when I heard all these anti-Mahesh fans talking about "Pilla Chao" being copied. I'm pretty sure no one knew about the Italian version until some hater went to extensive lengths to try and ruin Mahesh's and the Businessman's image. But nevertheless, Pilla Chao is absolutely fantastic, listen to it once and you'll never stop! I love how Mahesh taunted Kajal in the song, it's a very nice side of Prince that Puri decided to explore in the filming of this song.
Sir Ostahra was quite the treat and Prince did show off some dance moves. He was dressed quite dashing in this song but then again he's always a dashing man! I felt it was a bit awkward that some parts were censored when others weren't. The movie was a clean movie, I have seen movies with worse language than Businessman and they weren't censored. But nevertheless, the song and the entire movie turned out to be a blockbuster! "We love Bad Boys" is a favorite song, mainly because of Prince Mahesh's dance! I think it was very creative of the choreographer to take his clothes and some simple dance moves to create an absolutely fantastic dance. I must confess, whenever I watch the video for this song, I always go back to the part where Prince is dancing, because he was pretty good at it!
I cannot find words to describe how I felt when I saw the intermission for this movie. I honestly cried, but not because of what Mahesh said but because of his expression. Mahesh is a very expressive actor and that trait played to his advantage throughout this entire movie. His expression speaks volumes, all the emotions that could not be said in words were felt just by looking at Mahesh.
Chandamama is such a seductive song! Never knew Mahesh can be such a romantic! Although Prakash Raj's role was somewhat muted in the movie, he was an important character. The ending of Businessman was epic! I loved when Surya was asked why did you come to a fight without any weapons?, his response was similar to one of those punch replies that Mahesh is so famous for; he simply said "I'll use the ones you brought". To sum it all up Mahesh Babu or rather Surya Bhai is a modern day Robin Hood with a mission. A Robin Hood who is tired with the way society lives, especially the rich and Surya decides he's going to be the one to change the ways of our twisted society! If only a Surya Bhai really existed, this world will really be different. But Mahesh's character taught me to never judge a book by a cover, Surya Bhai is not the man we think he is, there's a reason for everything he does. Thank you Puri Sir for an amazing movie, with a beautiful plot, Thank you Thaman Sir for some of the most amazing Telugu songs that I have ever heard (especially Sir Osthara)and of course Thank you Superstar Mahesh for accepting this role and bringing Surya Bhai alive! Yes I know I gushed about Mahesh throughout this entire post but words cannot describe how much I love him as Surya Bhai, the wait for this DVD was definitely worth it!! Sir Osthara
We Love, love Bad Boys ;)
