January 10th is quickly approaching and I am so excited!!! 1 Nenokkadine will light up 2014! the song promos does very little to calm me down, it just makes me want to see the movie even more! I can't wait to see Mahesh rock the big screen with his new moves! I love "Sayonara, Oh Sayonara" because of his dance moves! (Lots of exclamation marks but I'm just way too excited!! Lol). Until 2014, be safe and be happy because Superstar is Coming!

Superstar is coming!

If anyone knows me, they know about my obsession with Mahesh Babu. Well be prepared to see me become even more obsessed! It was announced a while back, and a Facebook friend informed me as well, that Mahesh's new movie: 1 Nenokkadine will be released with English subtitles in the US and I can not be happier!! I will finally be able to experience what, you his Telugu fans, experience when you watch one of his movies on the big screen! I absolutely cannot wait for January 2014. It will be another great year for him and his fans. Plus it is most likely that the DVD for "1" will be released right around my birthday! I do not want alcohol for my 21st, no I want Superstar's new movie on DVD!Plus super excited to Gautam make his first appearance! & Ladies I know we're in the same boat when I say I can't wait to see if he finally reveals that hot bod!(wink, wink). & I was like damn this man seriously needs to stop doing this to my heart! It always skips a beat, I simply cannot believe that he's almost 40!!! & girls go crazy for him despite the fact that he never took his shirt off on screen !Superstar you rock!

SVSC: A Beautiful Piece of Work

So finally got my copy of SVSC in the mail last Friday and watched it last Sunday. It was phenomenal! I have been dying to watch this movie since the day it was released. There was none of the usual fight scenes that are usually seen in Mahesh Babu's films, he definitely stepped out of his element for this film and that made it even more beautiful. The movie revolves around family, a concept that I personally think is lost among the present generation. It emphasizes the importance of family, we don't realize it but they help us get through a lot of hardships in life. They are usually the ones who stick by us through thick and thin. Gotta say, the brothers' relationship was so believable,you could not tell that they were simply acting. I felt every hurt, every happy moment, every trying decision, and much more. Of course Mahesh looks superb and made me cry a few times during the sad scenes because of his expression but then came along the Mahesh/Sam scenes and a certain Euphoria was in the air. I love these two as an onscreen couple! Venky and Anjali were a beautiful treat. Their connection was too cute, love the hiccup scene in the Meghallo song. Anjali was definitely surprising! I love her!I hope this gives her a chance to grace Telugu films more often, she's a great fit!So lastly after finally finding out what they mean, my two favorite songs are Meghallo and Inka Cheppale :)

So it's officially January 11th in India which means that you guys are soon going to be enjoying the biggest multistarrer of our generation, unfortunately I will not be able to watch the movie at the AMC tonight (Jan 10th) but I will like to wish the entire Cast of SVSC nothing but the best for this movie. SVSC will undoubtedly be a magnanimous success at the box-office, even the anti-fans can't disagree. Best wishes to my favorite Superstar Mahesh, my favorite South Indian Actress Samantha,Venkatesh, Prakash Raj and 14 Reels Entertainment (especially to Ram Achanta, who took time to answer my questions). To all the fans watching the film at the very first showing, hope (I know you guys will)each and everyone of you have a fantastic time! Enjoy the movie everyone!

No SVSC For Me...

So here I am at 3AM, my time, crying. Yes!Crying because SVSC will not be released with English subtitles due to limited post-production time and as a Die-Hard Fan of Mahesh Babu, I'm very disappointed, sad, angry, and the list goes on. But I'm a strong girl and I will patiently wait for it to be released on DVD, not the pirated version! I HATE indulging in pirated movies, etc; especially when they concern Mahesh.I was and still am dying to watch this in the theater with his other fans but that dream remains to be fulfilled. Hopefully his film with Sukumar will be released with subtitles. I would like to say a big Thank you to all the people on Twitter who helped me in my quest to find out if SVSC had subtitles, and to Ram Achanta who took time out to answer my question.

SVSC Audio Function: A Cultural Event

Finally watched Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimale Chettu's Audio release function and I was utterly amazed! It was nothing compared to other audio functions that I have seen! It was different, I love the uniqueness that surrounded it. It was as special as the movie. Rather than the usual just singing and dancing, SVSC's audio release function was more like a cultural presentation. It taught this Non-Telugu fan a few things about her favorite Superstar's culture. It was so much fun to watch. Also love that the organizers made it a family event by making Arjun (Venky's son)and Gautam (Mahesh's son)the chief guests. The movie was made to be a family entertainer and the audio function reiterated that point. To sum it up: SVSC Audio Function was not only a family affair but a cultural event as well.

Disappointed!

I'm in a very angry and disappointed mood right now and the root of all these feelings is the fact that SVSC might not be released with English subtitles even for the AMC Movie theater! It is very irritating because Mahesh and Venkatesh and the entire team of SVSC made a movie for ALL fans to enjoy and it is quite unfair that the Non-Telugu fans are left out of this big multistarrer. When I watch a film, I want to understand, not only what is happening, but what is being said as well so there is no way I'm going to spend my money to watch SVSC unless it has subtitles, I trust even the Superstar will agree. I guess I'll have to wait for the DVD. I hope I'm not the only one of Mahesh's Non-Telugu fans who feel this way.If you want TFI to really be put out there for the world to love and enjoy then producers need to start thinking about those fans who desperately need subtitles. I was really looking forward to watching it at the AMC with all Mahesh's fans here and enjoying the experience but sadly if what I heard is true I will not be able to enjoy that experience. So tonight I head to bed a very disappointed Telugu Movie and Mahesh Babu Fan. Not much of a new year anymore...

No matter what 2013 brings, may they always find love, success and happiness in every aspect of their lives. To all Superstar's Fans, a very Happy and Prosperous New Year to you too and like me I know you're dying for January 11th to get here!
